Ok, even though I had to buy the dvd with it, my favorite stop-motion Rankin Bass special, Nester, the Long-Eared Christmas Donkey, is going to play 3 times on ABC Family this year! For the past couple of years I haven't seen it on their. I fell in love with it when I first saw it at my grandma's house b/c my uncle had taped it and Rudolph. but the tape is getting old and so I bought it on dvd which also includes Year without Santa Clause and Rudolph's Shiny New Year (which has Red Skelton in it- when I was little my family met him and my bro and I have his autograph, although I don't remember that day though...) anyway... just happy about Nester! I have no idea what that is, but I'm glad you're happy. When is it on? And what's it about?

I know I love my Christmas movies. Christmas wouldn't be the same without a few of them!

I LOVE NESTER!!!!! I especially love the song...

    "Mary bore our Savior
    Nester brought 'em there.
    A gift of love
    From God above
For all the world to share!"

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Nester is the story about a young donkey with long ears who no one really cares for (except his mother). Well one night he is sent out into the cold and his mother follows him. It is sad the next day but Nester makes friends with Tillie, a cherub, and she helps him get to another stable where he will wait until the "right time" to go to Bethlehem. It's only 22 min. but it is cute. It's on tomorrow at 7pm; Sat. at 3:30; and Dec. 13th at 7pm.
